Ordering live fish online should feel exciting—not stressful. Our shipping process is designed to protect your fish, reduce travel stress, and ensure the smoothest possible delivery experience. Quinn’s Fins specializes in safe, humane live fish shipping with a focus on healthy arrival and long-term success in your aquarium.

Shipping Costs Made Simple

We use flat-rate shipping tiers, so you always know exactly what to expect—and you can ship as many fish and plants as you’d like at the top-tier, until shipping is discounted or FREE.
No surprises, no per-bag add-ons, just clear and consistent pricing designed to protect your livestock in transit. Heat or Cold Packs are added Free of Charge, as needed.

International rates are automatically calculated at checkout based on location and carrier options.

How We Ship Live Aquarium Fish

Live fish are shipped early in the week to prevent weekend carrier delays.
Most live fish orders ship Monday through Thursday (Overnight) or Monday through Wednesday (Two-Day), depending on the method selected at checkout.

Before packing, fish are allowed a short fasting period and are visually checked to ensure they are strong and ready to travel.
This improves water quality inside the shipping bag and makes the journey easier on the fish.

We also review weather at our farm, along the carrier route, and at your destination to choose the safest shipping day.
If weather conditions look unsafe, we may briefly hold the shipment to protect the fish. This ensures healthy, live arrival, which is always our priority.

Plants & Dry Goods

Aquarium plants are much more resilient during transit and can be shipped more frequently.
Dry goods generally ship without weather checks and follow normal carrier schedules.
