What is Quinn’s Fins?
Quinn’s Fins, is a privately owned domestic fish farm and small business, which sits on 16-acres of land on the central east coast of sunny Florida, near Palm Bay. Originally an orange grove, until the 1970s, this beautiful property now hosts eight greenhouses; solar panels; a newly constructed (in late 2024) quarantine, holding, packing, and shipments center; a herd of sheep, palm trees, and most importantly hundreds of aquariums, over 300 above ground vats, and 147 massive in-ground ponds. Thousands upon thousands of gallons of naturally purified well water pool into our fish systems, which overflow and get returned to the ground, to be naturally re-purified by the farm’s underground aquifers. Please be aware that our fish farm is not open to the public.

Who Owns and Runs Quinn’s Fins?
Baron (whose middle name is “Quinn”) is the fourth and current owner of the farm. He purchased the property in 2014 and holds degrees in Marine Biology and Aquaculture from Florida Institute of Technology. Long before considering owning a fish farm and while still in college, Baron spent three years working on the farm for prior owners. Years later, before purchasing the farm, he spent an additional five years as a farm employee. In total, Baron has over 18 years of experience working on what is now Quinn’s Fins fish farm. He also has seven years of work experience as a marine biologist with Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), a state agency; and worked for one year with Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute.
What Does Quinn’s Fins Do?
Baron’s vision and leadership led a digital transformation and the transition to online sales of aquarium fish, plants, invertebrates, and amphibians, both directly through QuinnsFins.com and through third-party vendors. Quinn’s Fins now sells and ships retail and wholesale orders across the entire United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. In 2024, Quinn’s Fins launched a revamped website with a simplified shopping experience, user accounts with Loyalty Rewards Points, and big plans for the future.
What Does Quinn’s Fins Sell?
Although for most of its life the Quinn’s Fins fish farm has primarily bred and sold African Cichlids, operations have expanded to provide many more species of fish from around the world. Quinn’s Fins regularly curates an amazing selection of domestically bred and imported fish from around the globe. All imported fish pass extensive quarantine criteria before being released for sale through our website. We do this to ensure we’re providing the highest quality, healthiest, and most desirable aquarium stock available on the market. Each quarantine tank is isolated from the others and has its own water and overflows into a separated overflow system. This helps mitigate the transfer of illnesses between fish species, when they occur. All sick fish are medicated and health is ensured before any fish are sold. Most fish spend many months on the farm before being offered for sale.
